ASTRA The Astra is a lightweight, compact torch made from tough thermoplastic resin. It can be used with either normal 1.5v torch batteries or re-chargeable nickel-cadmium batteries (1.2v 5Ah removable pack with quick charger). Battery life is approximately 2 hours using a 20w bulb in the re-chargeable model or approximately 12 hours using a 10w bulb using normal batteries. The re-chargeable battery pack can be re-charged 500 times. The Astra features Cressi-sub's exclusive adjustable bush to give an adjustable beam. The lens cover is made from the same thermoplastic resin used in car headlamps. Both the lens cover and switch are doule sealed using nitrile rubber o-rings. The Astra can be used at depths of up to 100m. |
